Bar Screens
FB Procédés has been designing, manufacturing, and installing Bar Screens since 1985. Benefiting from innovative technology that guarantees efficiency and reliability, the FB Procédés Bar Screen range is a benchmark in the industry.
Definition
Screening is an essential step in wastewater pretreatment. It consists of intercepting and removing solid waste present in the effluent (plastics, fibers, coarse materials) in order to protect downstream equipment and ensure the proper operation of treatment facilities.
Réalisé de manière automatique, le dégrillage permet d’assurer une exploitation fiable, continue et sécurisée des ouvrages, tout en limitant les interventions manuelles et les coûts de maintenance.
Technology
For nearly 40 years, FB Procédés has been developing reliable and proven Bar Screening technologies, based on a thorough mastery of hydraulic and operational constraints. Each piece of equipment is designed to deliver optimal performance, high robustness, and simplified maintenance, while being precisely adapted to the characteristics of each structure.
Our technological approach is based on proven mechanical solutions, custom design, and a constant pursuit of durability and operational efficiency.
Installation
FB Procédés Bar Screens are designed to integrate easily into both new and existing structures, in open channels, pumping stations, or screening chambers. Each installation is studied to comply with hydraulic constraints, operating conditions, and maintenance requirements.
Thanks to an adaptable, custom-designed approach, our equipment allows for optimized installation without major civil works modifications, while ensuring long-lasting performance and safe operation.
Step Screen PROSTEP
The PROSTEP is a fine step Bar Screen designed to ensure efficient separation of waste at small bar spacing, particularly for applications requiring a high level of pretreatment. Thanks to its proven operating principle, it guarantees continuous removal of screenings while limiting head losses.
Robust, compact, and suited to the operational constraints of wastewater treatment plants, the PROSTEP integrates equally well as a main treatment or a polishing step, either upstream or as a complement to coarse screening.
Automatic Bar Screen SI350
The SI350 is an inclined Bar Screen designed for low to medium flow rates, where space constraints and operational simplicity are key priorities. Its inclination and standardized width allow for quick installation in confined structures, whether new or existing.
Reliable and robust, the SI350 ensures efficient removal of debris while limiting maintenance interventions, making it a solution particularly well suited to small pumping stations, compact plants, and decentralized installations.
Automatic Bar Screen SG400
The SG400 is a vertical Bar Screen designed for wastewater pretreatment at low to medium flow rates, where compactness and operational reliability are essential. Its vertical design allows optimal integration into constrained structures while ensuring efficient debris removal.
Robust and easy to operate, the SG400 ensures effective protection of downstream equipment and adapts to a wide range of bar spacings, thereby meeting the requirements of wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.
Automatic Bar Screen NG
The NG Bar Screen is a benchmark solution for wastewater pretreatment across a wide range of flow rates. Designed for medium to large-capacity structures, it stands out for its robustness, reliability, and perfect adaptation to the specific constraints of each installation.
Fully custom-designed, the NG integrates equally well into new or existing structures. Its proven mechanical design ensures efficient debris removal, safe operation, and simplified maintenance, even under the most demanding conditions.
Automatic Bar Screen XG
The XG Bar Screen is designed for the pretreatment of wastewater and stormwater at very high flow rates, particularly in wide structures and installations subject to significant hydraulic constraints. Its robust and proven design ensures reliable debris removal, even under the most severe operating conditions.
Suitable for both new structures and the rehabilitation of existing sites, the XG is custom-designed to ensure optimal integration, controlled head losses, and maximum operational continuity.
