In lifting stations, the bar screen automatic system is often overlooked in favor of manual hoists, although it is less expensive. However, to effectively protect the pumps, the bar screen automatic system remains the permanent solution and makes life easier for operators. Thus, in concrete or polyester lifting stations, whether rectangular or cylindrical, our bar screen «gravity» technology has no equivalent. Why? The following advantages explain this:

  • Cleaning of the grille from the upstream side. To be prescribed, unlike cleaning of the grille from the downstream side
  • Discharge of waste upstream and therefore outside the station
  • Significant buffer volume for waste between the effluent inlet duct outlet and the grate
  • Does not take up or hardly takes up any more space than a manual basket
  • No modification of the civil engineering is expected in most cases. Placed against the vertical wall, the self-supporting chassis bar screen requires minimal support.
  • Maintenance operations exclusively carried out from the «Natural Terrain» level»
  • Economic solution because there is no specific work bar screen to be carried out upstream of the station
Bar Screen in a lifting position

An SG400 type bar screen automatic, placed in an applique against the vertical wall of a concrete lifting station. The station protrudes 1100mm from the «Natural Terrain». It bar screen is attached to the top of the station, but also to the vertical wall inside the station. No auxiliary support or civil engineering modifications are required. The debris is discharged directly into a waste bin placed outside the station.

Bar Screen in a polyester lifting post

An SG400 type bar screen automatic installed in a polyester lifting station, exceeding 1000mm from the «Natural Terrain». No modification of the station was made to install it bar screen. Only a metal chair of FB Processed design takes on all the efforts related to the lifting operation bar screen.

Lower part bar screen of a lifting post

A lower chassis is bar screen installed inside a lifting station, facing the inlet pipe for the effluent. It bar screen takes up hardly any more space than a manual basket, and in no way prevents the pumps located downstream from operating.

An bar screen automatic NG21 type, installed in a concrete circular pumping station, and paired with a VCP150 type compaction screw. It bar screen is custom-made and perfectly adapted to the station (depth and diameter). Placed facing the inlet pipe, it thus filters the effluent and effectively protects the pumps located downstream in the same station.
