Bar Screen on the depositing station
The material discharge stations are often sensitive cases because they often have different configurations and are very demanding in terms of use. Consequently, the design of the civil engineering, the receiving structure of the canal bar screen, and even the choice of upstream equipment are of the utmost importance.
An bar screen automatic NG11 type installed on a dewatering eye in which effluents and waste from pumping pads or static grilles on the network are discharged via trucks. It bar screen is equipped with an 12mm-thick mesh grille and a washing ramp placed downstream of the grille. This ramp allows the grille to be disassembled, but also to spray certain waste. Finally, two VTP200 type transport screws evacuate the debris from the dewatering area, namely 5 meters in front of the bar screen.
A vertical SG400 type bar screen automatic installed in a metal cabinet designed by FB Processes. It is placed on a waste disposal area for restaurant effluents, loaded with grease, wipes, towels, etc. Trucks come to connect to the «fireman» connector placed upstream of the cabinet and dump the effluent into it. The SG400 bar screen, with its 10mm mesh grille, extracts a large part of the waste, which, exiting the adapted discharge hopper, is dumped into a waste bin positioned on the side of the metal cabinet. In the event of a problem with the SG400 bar screen, the cabinet includes a bypass overflow.
On this dumping site, we replaced a manual grate with an bar screen automatic type NG11, in order to process the effluents from a 10m3 truck per day. The refuse removal screens consist of grease, wipes, pebbles, etc. The bar screen one with its 10mm gap grate is installed at the end of the concrete wall and thus allows for a large buffer volume upstream. A deflector from our supply positioned across the channel directs the effluent towards the bar screen (side feed). The refuse removal screens are thus discharged outside the wall into a waste container.
An bar screen automatic XG12 type, with a 10mm slot grille, installed on a depositing station. The FB Processed design electrical cabinet – fixed on the side of the bar screen – integrates a function with a speed variation in order to optimize the duration of a cycle (a descent and an ascent of the jaw). This is fundamental in this application, as is a considerable buffer volume upstream of the bar screen. A VCP200 type compaction screw allows to reduce the volume of the waste recovered and to discharge it into a bin positioned on the side of the channel.
