The step Bar Screen, or stair-type Bar Screen (also known as a Step Screen), PROSTEP type, is the result of 30 years of expertise in screening. More than just an innovative fine Bar Screen, it has been developed and designed to meet the most demanding expectations of operators.

This step Bar Screen was entirely designed with the objective of providing an efficient, robust, and reliable screening solution, while minimizing maintenance and operating costs.

An FB Procédés innovation: 100% of the submerged components are made of stainless steel, avoiding the use of plastic spacers, which are less reliable and more costly. The stainless-steel spacers of the PROSTEP Step Screen provide longer service life and lower maintenance costs.

The design and unique shape of the screen bars were specifically developed to improve debris capture and prevent waste from falling back into the channel.

Thanks to an exclusive in-house developed process, the screen design minimizes head losses as much as possible.

Thanks to its adaptability, numerous options, and custom design for each project, the PROSTEP Step Screen enables fine screening (bar spacing from 2 to 6 mm).
