2 screens on a stormwater network
At the end of October, our technicians Cédric and Geoffrey replaced two competitors' screens in the Paris region, which had been installed on a stormwater network for several years. In their place, we installed two Type XG12 screens.
One of the major technological differences between the old and new units is that the former were cable-operated, whereas the latter feature a single central strap. In this regard, it is worth noting that each screen has a width of 2000mm. With FB Procédés technology, a single strap is sufficient regardless of the screen's width. The strap is supplied at the correct length, meaning no adjustments are necessary. Finally, a strap can be replaced in just 15 minutes without interrupting the effluent flow, directly from the installation level, ensuring total safety. This is also true for all other spare parts.
Following the client's request, we also dismantled the conveyor line; screenings will now be discharged directly into waste bins placed under the screen hoppers.
As for the duration of the intervention—from dismantling the existing equipment to commissioning the new machinery—it took two full days.
