Bar Screen Installation Configurations

The automatic Bar Screen is installed across the flow of effluent, with upstream or downstream discharge depending on the model.

Depending on the flow rate and technical specifications, the Bar Screen can either match the full width of the channel or be narrower, in which case a side deflector is fitted.

The Bar Screen is secured at two points:

• at the base of the upper section, on top of the channel walls, using chemical anchors
• partly at the low level of the approach bay, on the walls of the channel by mechanical bracing

This configuration minimizes the space occupied by the lift bar screen, leaving, for example, enough space to access the station, which is particularly useful for a lifting station, so that access to the pumps can be easily and safely achieved.
